| so, i really dont know who still reads this...but i decided that its time to make another entry.
theres a ton that has happened since last time we met. so much to say......alot of lessons learned and still to learn. alot of things have become uncertian. alot of things to do. and so much more after that. i take joy in knowing that at any given moment i can see the working hand of God. theres peace in that... i guess thats all i need.
till we meet again

| "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved."
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus." -Ephesians 2:4-7
...a great and incomprehensible love has been bestowed by a Gracious King...and its all for His Glory. | | |
| I am scared out of my pants! ......*grabs pants, puts them back on*
ill be working with the youth at church and will be leading them in their time of worship. Im excited about this opportunity, actually... im stinkin' pumped.
But doing this has added to what is going to look like a very busy semester. Thats what scares me the most. Besides being scared of being able to effectively and truly invest in the lives of young students.
Its gonna be tough. Bring it.
Praise God for being the living water, from which we can draw from an abundant flow

| For those who do not know, I work for the UNT Police Department. Working in the civil service field, God has provided a great experience for whatever He is prepareing for me; I read this in one of my Criminal Justice classes:
"All uniforms make people in them seem easily understood."
I meet and interact with alot of people while at work. Usually when someone approaches me to talk , they come off pretty hostile...whether they recieved a ticket or not. I think thats mainly due to the uniform that I wear and what preconcieved notion that people may have about those who wear it. It is understandable why some may become hostile, but often we are very quick to judge. That is also the same for those who stand behind the uniform as well. I am guilty of it.
I am always tempted to return someones angry remarks with my own witty, rude, and in your face response (sometimes it gets WAY frustrating); but God in his infinate grace reminds me of how that would not be gloryfying to Him. We are missionaries no matter where we are, even at work. I think its ok to be stern with people, but not overbearing.
But in all things...the people that are kind, appreciative and understanding usually make up for those who are ugly with me. Praying for them, the good and bad people, God really shows how awesome He is. I enjoy my job, what an awesome opportunity...
I was pretty much on a soapbox in this entry...hmmm...dont know why that happened... lets hope that doesnt happen often.
later guys,
